Our Thanks to the employees of Klein’s ShopRite of Bel Air for their generous donation of food items for our Pantry. They will be given to both the homeless in Bel Air and those struggling to make ends meet in this economy. January, 2015

Scroll down for a look at some of the things we do.

The Cottage Thrift Shop is but one of the ways we reach out to meet the needs of the Bel Air Community. Open from 10 AM until 1 PM most Fridays and Saturdays, the shop sells gently used clothes and household items.

The shop is located in Trego House, at 24 East Broadway in Bel Air, adjacent to Emmanuel Church.

In addition, we have a Pantry (housed in the Rectory) stocked with food for those struggling to make ends meet in this economy. It is generally open Tuesdays and Thursdays mid morning, though church staff are eager to help other times as well.

Emmanuel crafts, blesses and distributes “Prayer Shawls” to those who are ill or shut in at home or in a nursing facility.

At Holiday times, we provide meals and treats for many of the 143 residents of Harford Senior Housing.

Finally, Emmanuel is an authorized site for the Community Work Service program. Persons given Community Service hours by the court system may be assigned to Emmanuel to work in a variety of office and maintenance tasks.
